Hey everyone!! this is going to be a shorter blog due to time constraints...but bear with us!
We went to an awful contemporary art museum today that scared the living daylight out of us. we hated it. it had weird, creepy video machines playing everywhere and an evil clown room and some other nasty things...we decided it reminded us alot of the saw movies. not fun.
we both tried brats for the first time today too! Alli didnt like them much and jenna thought they were okay! tonight we go on the berlin pub crawl, which will be really fun and yes we will be really safe. theres a large group of 20 of us going so we all will be watching out for each other. our group here has become a big family so its great. Guess that happens when you are together daily for 3weeks!! we both got an A on our midterms too. so be proud parents!!
the other night, we went to the house of 100 beers which was awesome!!! we both had different beers and really liked them. jenna has the berliner kindler, which is a lighter beer. alli had an hefeweissen and she definitely stole the glass from the restaurant as her germany souvenier. that little thief.
we also heard that brad pitt and angelina jolie will be in london this coming week for the movie premier in the UK....so we havent lost our chance to meet them yet. we are holding out hope for london. keep u posted on that one!!
we have to write our final paper tomorrow, but its pretty easy. other than that, it will be a relaxing weekend filled with homework, the flea market and packing. we leave monday morning for london, which we are so excited for. :)

Sounds wonderful. What a great time. You are probably somewhat sad it is coming closer to an end. Allison, careful - those souveniers might land you in jail - REMEMBER - you are not in the USA. ReplyDeleteOMG I hope you meet the Jolie-Pitts, that would be amazing! Also, don't forget the King's Cross station in London if you get the chance. It is a main railroad station and also connects to the London Underground. It would be quite an experience to ride that. The station was built in 1852 and there's a legend that Boudica (look it up) might be buried underneath one of the platforms. Oh, and did I mention that Platfor 9 3/4 is there? If you dont get a picture with the cart I'll be very sad :( Hope you have a great time on your pub crawl!!

I know your going to love London.Your Mum and I had a nice day (friday) shopping,chinese food, movie(Revolutionary Road),good acting, but very depressing movie. Hope you have some warm clothes, its quite damp and cool there. Say Hi to everyone for me and tell them to come and visit anytime. Hope you can blog some more in London. It's Mom H. Have to use Auntie Barb's sign in again. It is 10:30 at night here. Heading home early tomorrow morning to rescue the pups from the kennel since Dad has to go to work. Try to call the airline you are flying home on to ask if you are allowed to pack wine in checked baggage. If you do pack the wine, be sure to have your most valued possessions in your carryon. I can just visualize the wine bottles breaking.
So sad to hear your last museum was not something you enjoyed. Hope you can get your paper done and still have some time to enjoy Berlin on your own.
I bet you guys would love to go back someday and check out some other European cities.
I hope you get to see Brad and Angelina. Are you going to see the movie when you get home?
